The attached diagram provides a clear snapshot of our company's structure, highlighting the integral roles played by each team member in our daily operations to drive growth, encompassing both official employees and external collaborators.
Our strategy has been to maintain a lean team to simplify management and, most importantly, safeguard our financial health. The β¬2.5 million CDTI grant (Seal of Excellence) for R&D expenses covering 2023, 2024, and 2025 has allowed us to prudently expand our technical staff to meet evolving needs. Reflecting on the year, we are pleased to report that our product development team has established itself as an exceptional unit.
On the other hand, thanks to the funding received in October 2024 from a capital increase, we have been able to dedicate effort and resources to building a more experienced team in other areas, primarily in the most essential one: business development. We faced unprecedented challenges, as the founders were heavily involved in time-consuming tasks such as regulatory and compliance audits. Our strategy required making tough decisions to part ways with individuals who did not align with our core needs or possess the necessary expertise to support the companyβs growth. We have since focused on building a stronger, more capable team. However, this process has proven to be a significant challenge, as we must compete for talent against larger entities, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, which can offer more attractive compensation packages.
Despite these obstacles, we are reassured by the consistent demand for our product. The issue does not lie in market acceptance but rather in the scarcity of qualified personnel.
